Introduction of Hosts
China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS) founded in 1989, is the biggest professional battery association in China. It has six branches, including alkaline battery and new type chemical power sources branch, lead acid storage battery branch, lithium battery branch, dry cell branch, solar energy photovoltaic branch, accessory and equipment for battery branch. Now CIAPS has more than 350 members involved in the development, manufacture, sales, or marketing of batteries, power supplies etc.
CIAPS have good relationship with the society, associations and famous companies in the battery field in the world. CIAPS will continue to promote technical exchange and trade cooperation between China and international battery community.
TC90 on Solar Photovoltaic Power System of Standardization Administration of China is a national professional standardization technology organization, which takes the charge of national Solar Photovoltaic Power System standardization technology tasks. One of the key tasks is professionally establishment and edition the national standard and industry standard according to related national policies and principles on standard revising. In the early years of the 1970s, China has begun to develop the national standard of naming method for solar cell models and the terms of solar cells much earlier than international standards. Another major work is technical management of IEC, including considering and discussing to the domestic vote and replies of IEC/TC82 files, and timely drafting international standard protocols and the working proposal based on China's practice.
Standard formulation is a social work, which is purpose to guarantee the health development of our photovoltaic industry. Only the active participation of the whole country can make the work of establishment and formulation of photovoltaic standards better and better.
